£26 converted to euros is 35 a nothing special number. A marathon being 42km (who knew?) seemed a betetr number to use for life the universe and everything.

Suzi, you may need some good drug advice - legal ones of course! Make sure you load up on some creatine, amino acids (before, after and the next days when DOMS sets in) as well as lots of minerals like potassium and magnesium which will avoid cramps. Dried fruit and especially bananas are good for this as well. And good for you for going for this! Might just inspire me to do the London 100 bike race next year! Madness is contagious!

I remember fantasising about running the marathon when we were school kids. I ran around West square in preparation and realised that I would never make it! Hopefully I will be able to be with you in London....however I will be taking the Tube to find you along the route.....and I will proudly cheer you on. Love Christine x
